This is a voice spec, not a character. Naming an assistant and giving it a backstory is where disclosure problems usually start.
What the numbers mean
The failure voice is the one that matters
Visitors hear the refusal wording more than the greeting, because it fires whenever your content has a gap. Specify how it sounds when it has nothing, first.
Do not give it a name and a face
A human first name with a stock avatar is where AI disclosure problems begin. A voice spec sets how it writes; it should not invent a person.
Banned words do more than tone guidance
“Be plain” is unenforceable. A list of five words it may never use is checkable, and removes most of the corporate register on its own.
Tone never overrides grounding
A friendly assistant that fills a gap to sound helpful is worse than a terse one that says it does not know. State the precedence explicitly.

We would not. A name invites a persona, a persona invites a photo, and that is the path to a visitor believing they are talking to a person.

No. Tone changes how it sounds, not what it knows. If answers are wrong, the problem is sources or grounding, and no amount of warmth covers it.
