Pricing

Priced around conversations, not seats.

A small site should cost almost nothing to run an assistant on. These are the plans we intend to launch with. Creobot opens to teams in order, and there is no checkout on this page.

How billing works

Credits

One credit is one visitor conversation, however long it runs. A conversation with eight follow up questions costs one credit, the same as a conversation with one. Charging per message would push us to make the assistant terser, which is the opposite of the point.

Sources

A source is one page or one uploaded file the assistant may answer from. This is the limit that matters most, and the one most people misread. More sources produce worse answers unless each one earns its place, so the lower tiers are not as restrictive as they look.

Storage

Storage covers uploaded files rather than crawled pages. A typical PDF handbook is well under a megabyte, so storage is rarely the binding limit. If it becomes one, that usually means the wrong files are being uploaded.

Agents

An agent is one configured assistant with its own sources, tone and rules. One site normally needs one. Agencies running a separate assistant per client site are the reason the higher tiers carry more.

Before you pay anything

Ways to start without ripping out your current assistant

Already running Chatbase, SiteGPT or Intercom? Keep it running. Everything below happens before there is anything to buy.

Included

Free competitor teardown

We test the assistant you already run, on your live site, with your questions. Nine scored rows and the raw answers. We benchmark your current assistant before asking you to switch.

Included for pilots

Done-for-you migration

We map sources, configure Creobot and run side-by-side QA. Source inventory is the week nobody has scheduled, so it is the part we do rather than the part we ask you for.

Available now

Public-content benchmark

Test on public pages, docs and approved sources without sending sensitive data. No customer records, no PHI, no payment data, no credentials.

Talk to us

Customer-controlled pilot

For teams that need tighter control over pilot scope, accounts and access. This is a narrower pilot shape, not a certification, and it does not make Creobot compliant.

Included for pilots

Security review pack

Security questionnaire, data-flow summary, pilot rules, deletion process and subprocessor status. Sixteen questions answered directly, including the ones where the answer is no.

WHY NONE OF THIS IS PRICED

Creobot opens to teams in order and there is no checkout. Putting a number on migration work before the product can be bought would be inventing one. These are included for pilots because a pilot is what exists today.

What happens at the limit

Credits run out

The assistant keeps answering and the overage appears on the next invoice. We would rather bill you than have your widget go dark on a live site mid month.

Sources run out

New sources are refused until you remove one or move up a plan. Existing answers are unaffected.

Storage runs out

Uploads are refused. Crawled pages do not consume storage, so a site can keep growing without hitting this.

These are the behaviours we are building toward. None of them is a contractual commitment, because there is no contract and no billing system yet.

Add ons we are considering

Named here so the plan table is not quietly hiding them. None of these is priced, and none is committed.

  • Extra credit packs

For sites with a seasonal spike rather than a permanently higher baseline.

  • Additional agents

For agencies that need more than the five included on Scale.

  • Data residency

Choosing a processing region. Asked for often, not built, and not promised.

  • Signed DPA

Planned before paid rollout rather than sold as an upgrade.

What happens if it does not work for you

There is no trial to start and no card to enter. A pilot is scoped and priced with you first. That removes the usual risk question and replaces it with a different one: what happens after launch if you pay and it does not fit.

The positions we intend to launch with, stated now so they can be held against us. Monthly billing by default, so leaving costs you at most one month. Plan changes take effect on the next cycle with no cancellation penalty. Your content and your conversation log belong to you and are exportable from the Pro plan.

What we are not offering is a money back guarantee, because a product with no billing system cannot honour one. Saying so is more useful than a guarantee badge we would have to withdraw.

The honest way to de-risk this before launch is to tell us what your site has to answer. If it is a poor fit we will say so, and that conversation costs nothing. The comparisons name the cases where another tool is the better choice.

Monthly by default

Leaving costs you at most one month. No annual lock in to get a usable plan.

Plan changes on the next cycle

No cancellation penalty and no downgrade fee.

Your data is yours

Content and conversation log belong to you, exportable from the Pro plan.

No money back guarantee

A product with no billing system cannot honour one. Saying so beats a badge we would withdraw.

What the first pilot covers

The first pilot runs on public website content, docs, help pages and sources you approve, which is why it can start before a security review does. Stated plainly: Creobot holds no SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001 or PCI DSS certification, and makes no zero-retention or no-training guarantee while the model provider mix is still being settled. Retention periods, the subprocessor list and a signed DPA land before anyone is charged. Read the security page for what is settled and what is not.

Pricing questions

No. Creobot opens to teams in order and these are the prices we intend to launch with. They are a direction, not an offer, and they may move before self serve opens. Nothing on this page can be purchased today.

One credit covers one visitor conversation, however many messages that conversation takes. Retrieval, the answer itself, and any fallback to a second model when the first provider is unavailable are all inside the same credit. A visitor who asks eight follow up questions costs the same as one who asks a single question, which is deliberate: charging per message would push you to make the assistant less helpful.

One source is one page or one uploaded file the assistant is allowed to answer from. A ten page site trained on every page uses ten sources. Source count matters more than storage, because adding weak sources lowers answer quality rather than raising coverage.

The behaviour we intend is that the assistant keeps answering and the overage appears on the next invoice, rather than the widget going dark on your live site mid month. This is a design position rather than a contractual commitment, because there is no contract to commit under yet.

The Free plan is not time limited. It is sized so a small site can run a real assistant on it indefinitely rather than for fourteen days. If your site outgrows 100 conversations a month, that is a better signal to upgrade than a countdown.

No. Credits reset monthly. Rolling credits over would make capacity planning harder on both sides, and we would rather the plan you are on reflect the traffic you actually have.

The intent is monthly billing with plan changes taking effect on the next cycle and no cancellation penalty. Since there is no billing system live yet, treat that as the plan rather than as terms you can hold us to.

Ask. Pricing is not final, so a question about your actual traffic and source count is more useful to both of us than the table above.

Ask what your usage would actually cost

Pricing is agreed with you before anything starts. Tell us your traffic and how many pages you would train on, and we will work through what it would come to.
